Ah well, ok, in light of the recent passing of Scott (Velvet revolver), Lenny (Mötorhead) & David Jones (Bowie), please remember these human beings only died in body. Yes they are still there, yes they can still hear you. So I advise you don't bitch about them if you dislike them for one reason or another, because you'll upset the big man upstairs (yes, God, He does exist).

So where are Scott, Lenny & David now? Heaven? Purgatory? Hell?? God is very merciful and will have great compassion on a soul if the soul shows willingness to trust and cling to Him.  We need to remember that when we offer prayers for the soul and the bereaved family of the soul, we are doing a great act of love & compassion for that soul.  Yes, flowers, candles and playing their music is nice, but does not really benefit their souls, however prayer does.

Prayer cleanses the souls of burdens still carried over from their earthly lives, this included guilt carried over by wrongdoings that they have committed and haven't yet made up for.  You see, in the next life, everything needs to be made up for, because unless the soul is fully purified it cannot enter Heaven.
Hell is not a happy bar where satan has happy hour and serves you free beer, wine or cocktails.  If that was the real case, it would be a compliment if you tell someone to go rot in hell.

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is probably one of the most powerful prayers apart from the Holy Rosary.  St Faustina noted in her diary that when she kept praying the chaplet, the angel could no longer bring about punishment or chastisement on the land.

 For those who are non Christians, I ask you to keep an open mind and pray it and you will see the difference even after praying it once.

I'll put a link here later on, in the meantime, you can type "divine mercy chaplet" in the app store (either iphone, android etc) and you will find free apps for the Chaplet, it takes you step by step and it should only take about 10 minutes.  Don't rush through it, think about what you're praying.
And if you feel close to these people, ask God to help you feel their love and presence, you will feel it, God is generous.  Just don't go doing ouijas, you won't win their respect, and you'll end up attracting nasty spirits who might pretend they are the people you love and start causing problems in your life.
